 Dr. Kyle McKamey is a South Haven native having graduated from LC Mohr High School in 1988. After graduation, Dr. McKamey held jobs in a few different fields including landscape design and nuclear power. After a serious car accident in 1995, Dr. McKamey found great relief from his injuries with Chiropractic care. In 1998, he decided that he wanted to be able to share the gift of Chiropractic with as many people as possible, so he moved to Iowa to attend “The Fountainhead of Chiropractic”. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in February 2004. Dr. McKamey felt a great desire to share his knowledge and expertise with the community that he was born and raised in, so he returned home to be with his family and friends.
 Dr. McKamey operates Healthzone Chiropractic, located at 635 Conger Street, right next door to South Haven Animal Hospital. HealthZone provides full spine x-rays, computerized muscle testing, postural evaluations, custom orthotics and several natural, noninvasive techniques of Chiropractic adjusting. In addition to Chiropractic Care Dr. McKamey offers advice on diet and exercise and also performs both on and offsite health care workshops. The goal at HealthZone is to be a family and community oriented wellness center for both the mind and the body. It is Dr. Kyle’s firm belief that in order for us to get and maintain wellness, we have to learn to be proactive in our healthcare instead of being reactive. HealthZone is managed by Dr. McKamey’s fiancée, Sarah Hembree, who is also a South Haven native and a 1990 graduate of LC Mohr High School. Dr. McKamey and Sarah reside in South Haven along with Dr. McKamey’s 8 year old son, Kameren, who is in the 3 rd grade at Maple Grove Elementary. Dr. Kyle, Sarah and Kameren are anxiously awaiting the birth of Lennon James McKamey whose expected date of delivery is March 22, 2006.
